The University of Toronto's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) office offers a wide range of accredited continuing medical education programs designed to help physicians maintain competence, learn new skills, and improve patient outcomes. As a Temerty Medicine alumnus, you have preferred access to many of these programs.
Our CME offerings span live conferences, online modules, simulation-based training, and self-directed learning activities — all developed by leading faculty at the University of Toronto and its affiliated hospitals.
May 15–16, 2026 — Two-day conference covering the latest in interventional cardiology, heart failure management, and cardiac imaging. 12 CME credits.
June 8, 2026 — One-day workshop on evidence-based approaches to common primary care challenges, including mental health and chronic disease management. 6 CME credits.
September 2026 (4-part series) — Monthly sessions on leadership in healthcare, physician wellness, and organizational management. 3 CME credits per session.
Available year-round — Over 50 online modules across specialties, including clinical updates, diagnostic imaging, and patient safety. Complete at your own pace.
The University of Toronto CPD office is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME). Our programs are designed to meet the requirements of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada's Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program and the College of Family Physicians of Canada's Mainpro+ program.
Each program listing includes the number of accredited credits and the applicable credit category. Certificates of completion are issued electronically following each program.

Select your program and complete the online registration form. Alumni receive preferred pricing on most programs.
Attend the program, complete any required assessments, and receive your accredited CME credits and certificate electronically.
